2021 marks a significant milestone in the history of the Grass Lake community as we will be celebrating our 150th year, also known as a sesquicentennial.  A group of dedicated community leaders and citizens have volunteered to coordinate activities for the various events that will take place throughout the year.  Britt Keene, DDA Chair and Sabrina Edgar of the Grass Lake Farmers Market are serving as committee co-chairs. 


The Sesquicentennial Committee is planning on meeting every 4th Tuesday beginning in April at 4:00 p.m. at the Roaming Goat Coffee Shop located at 115 S. Lake Street.  If you are interested in representing your non-profit organization or just wish to volunteer as an interested citizen, please plan to attend.


The Grass Lake Downtown Development Authority has provided initial funding for Sesquicentennial activities.  Donations to the DDA for financial support to make our 150th year celebration a great success are welcome and can be sent to:
